8502. In order to be eligible to hold the office of director of the district, a person shall be a citizen of the
United States and of this state, and an owner of lands within the district which are devoted, in whole or in part, to the growing of the product for which the district is established.
8503. Upon his appointment, each director shall, in the manner provided by law, give such official bond for the faithful performance of his duties as shall be fixed by the board of supervisors and shall subscribe the oath of office and such bond and oath shall be filed with the county clerk.
